BASIC PARAMOTOR COURSE

Duration of 6 days.
 50 hours of certified instruction.
 Initial training consists of three phases:

 Phase I:
 • Theory on aerodynamics, meteorology, engine mechanics, piloting and safety.
 • Recognition and operation of flight equipment and material.
 • Ground wing inflation and control practices.
 Phase II:
 • Practice takeoffs, short flights and landing maneuvers.
 • Practices will be carried out on the beach with single-seater, motorless paragliders.
 • This phase may be implemented by a two-seater educational flight in a trike guided by the instructor.
 Phase III:
 • Basic theory on powered flight.
 • Mechanics: Assembly, inspection, refueling and starting.
 • Inflation practices and takeoff run.
 • Takeoff maneuvers, air circuits.
 • Approach maneuvers and landings.

 The course is completed by making a minimum of 3 solo flights.
 USPPA License and Certification can be obtained optionally.
